The Port of Surabaya is situated in the city of Surabaya, and its full name is Port Tanjung Perak, with the code INSUB. The port is located in Indonesia, and is managed by PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya. It is a medium-size port, and constitutes a good base that can accept many different types of ships. The maximum size of a ship that can sail into the port is one that is over 152.4 meters. The port has compulsory pilotage, one can also expect support from a tugboat. The port conducts electrical repairs, there are dock workers, the port also has navigational devices. Ships can also be repaired here. The port has a medium-sized dry dock. The seaport of Surabaya is the city’s main port, with 6 terminals, including for conventional less-than-container load goods, goods unloaded in the Ro-ro system, a passenger terminal and an international container terminal. It is equipped with mobile and floating cranes. It is also one of the busiest ports in the country. Cargo is transported both domestically, as well as internationally. The port can accept ships with 1000 TEU.
