Port of Xiamen

Port of Xiamen is situated in China and has maritime connections with over 60 ports in 40 countries and regions around the world, including Australia, Japan, Singapore, USA and Canada. Of particular importance is the cooperation with ports in Taiwan as Port Xiamen is located on the Taiwan Strait, 200 nautical miles from the Port of Taipei. It is a multi-functional, modernized port adapted to tourism, transport of people, international transshipment, trade and transit. There is railway access in the port’s vicinity.

In 2003, the Port of Xiamen was able to accept 34 million tons of cargo, including 2.3 million TEU.
