The seaport of Melbourne in Australia is probably the most important maritime trade hub in the country. It is located in Melbourne in the state of Victoria. It is one of the four largest container ports in the southern hemisphere. It handles the largest number of container cargo, over 2.5 million TEU, and accepts around 3000 ships a year.
