Yokohama is a seaport with the code JPYOK. It is located in Japan, situated in the Tokyo Bay. North of this port there are two other ports: Kawasaki and Tokyo. The port is equipped with 9 main piers. Honmoku Pier is the port’s most important facility and has 24 berths. The Ōsanbasahi Pier handles passenger traffic and cruise vessels. There is also a customs facility and a quarantine facility. Detamachi is also known as the “banana pier” because it accepts fresh vegetables and fruit. The Daikoku Pier is located on an artificial island 321 hectares in size. There are warehouses here with a total surface area of one million m2. The Mizuho Pier has 7 berths. It is used by the American forces stationed in Japan.
